Funded by an Education grant from the Alaska Maritime Heritage Program, ERLPA developed a Volunteer Keeper Program in 2024, with 16 trained volunteers manning the lighthouse for a full week during the months of June and July. ERLPA intends to continue this program if transportation is achieved.
